We’ll meet for our first #EUTweetUp since the pandemic struck on 5 October, in line with all  the relevant COVID-19 safety measures in place for Brussels.

In practice, this means we will have to keep our fingers crossed it doesn’t rain and that we can safety sit outside.

With the nail biting results from the German elections, the EU’s foray into participatory democracy via the Conference on the future of Europe and the  focus on Europe’s vaccine success story, geopolitics, climate change and young people in the State of the Union address, there is plenty for us all to discuss.

What’s an #EUTweetUp?

The #EUTweetUp is an informal get-together to step away from the online personas and meet people face-to-face, getting to know the Tweeps behind the accounts over a few drinks.

Who can join?

Everyone is welcome. No need to register in advance. Simply turn up (and even better bring a friend, preferably one who has a Twitter account!)

When and where will it happen?

Tuesday 5 October, from 18h onwards

Le Grand Central, 190 Rue Belliard
